Condorcet.vote Alpha Terms of sale

Terms of sale

Last updated: 22 October 2026

Subject matter and scope

These terms govern the sale of credits and the marking of an election as Official on Condorcet.Vote, a service published by Condorcet.Vote. They supplement the terms of use, which remain applicable to the whole service. They apply to business buyers and to consumers alike; provisions specific to consumers are flagged as such.

During the alpha

The service is in alpha: everything is free and uncapped, and no sale is open. These terms take effect when billing opens, which users will be told about. The grid shown on the Pricing page is the announced commercial grid, not a sale in progress.

Service status →

What is sold

The service sells two things, and a third one is not for sale.

Credits
The prepaid unit of the service, sold in packs whose unit price decreases with quantity. One credit corresponds to one voter on the electoral roll of an Official election.
Official marking
Marking an election as Official, which debits as many credits as it has registered voters and triggers the commitments attached to that offer.
The Free offer
It is not sold at all: no payment, no order, and no undertaking from us beyond what the terms of use provide.

Prices

Prices appear on the Pricing page, in euros and excluding VAT; VAT at 20% is added. The price inclusive of tax is displayed before ordering when the buyer is a consumer. Credits are neither convertible nor refundable in cash, subject to the right of withdrawal below. We may change the grid: the applicable price is the one displayed when the order is placed.

Ordering

An order is placed from the organizer space, on the credits page. It sets out the quantity of credits, the unit price, the total excluding VAT and the applicable VAT. It becomes firm when you confirm it; we acknowledge it by e-mail.

Payment

Payment is made by the following means.

Bank transfer
We send you an invoice and our bank details. The order stays pending until the payment arrives.
Card
This payment method will be offered later and is not available today. It will be handled by a specialist provider: no card data will pass through our servers or be stored on them.

Delivery of the credits

Credits are added to the account balance as soon as the payment is received. They do not expire: they stay available without any time limit, and no order has to be used up within a deadline.

Invoicing

An invoice is issued for every order: it states our identity, our intra-community VAT number and the details of the order. Towards a business buyer, late payment carries interest at the statutory rate applicable between businesses and gives rise to the €40 fixed indemnity for recovery costs.

Right of withdrawal (consumers)

A consumer has fourteen days from their order to withdraw, without reason or penalty, by writing to contact@condorcet.vote. The refund is made within fourteen days of receiving the request, by the same means of payment. If you ask for the credits to be made available immediately, you accept that performance begins before that period ends: credits already used are then no longer refundable, while the unused balance stays refundable until the fourteen days are up.

No refunds

Credits are never refunded: neither converted to cash, nor taken back, nor returned once debited, including when the election is cancelled, by the organizer or by the platform. They never expire either. The only exception is the consumer right of withdrawal described above, within its conditions and time limit.

Official marking and credit consumption

Marking an election as Official debits the corresponding credits, one per registered voter. That marking is final: there is no un-marking, and debited credits are not returned, including if the election is later cancelled. This is the counterpart of credits never expiring: a credit bought stays acquired, a credit debited stays consumed.

Warranties

The service is provided in accordance with its description on the site. A consumer additionally benefits from the statutory warranty of conformity applicable to digital services: where the service does not conform, they may request that it be brought into conformity and, failing that, a price reduction or the termination of the contract. Those statutory warranties apply regardless of these terms.

Liability

The liability of the parties is governed by the terms of use, including the limitation applicable to business buyers. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions are unaffected.

Consumer mediation

After trying to settle a dispute directly with us, any consumer may use a consumer mediator free of charge. The competent mediator will be appointed and named on this page before billing opens; until then, nothing is offered for sale to consumers.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute falls to the courts of Paris, subject to the mandatory rules of jurisdiction applicable to consumers.
