Vote proof

Once an election is closed, a voter can prove to a third party, on their own initiative, that a published ballot is theirs, for instance under a proxy mandate. Their secret key never leaves their device.

  1. 1 The requester generates a challenge (nonce).
  2. 2 The voter produces the proof with their secret key.
  3. 3 Anyone can verify the proof.

Proving reveals your vote to whoever receives the proof.

An open-source application to explore ranked-choice voting methods, built on Condorcet PHP, the library that also tallies Condorcet.Vote elections.

  • Enter candidates and ballots, or import a file in the CEF format.

  • Compare methods side by side and spot where they disagree.
